PROJECT MANAGER - ERP MIGRATION (PEOPLESOFT TO WORKDAY)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the conversion of our enterprise systems from PeopleSoft to Workday. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale ERP migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business processes. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and in-depth technical and functional knowledge of PeopleSoft and Workday.

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead and manage the end-to-end PeopleSoft to Workday migration project.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, finance, and external vendors, to define project requirements and deliverables.
Oversee data migration, system configuration, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership, on project progress and challenges.
Ensure proper change management practices are in place, including training and documentation for end-users.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the migration process.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on ERP or HCM systems.
Hands-on experience managing PeopleSoft to Workday conversions or similar ERP transitions.
Strong understanding of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.) and PeopleSoft architecture.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Familiarity with data migration tools and best practices is a plus.
